How Does It Work?
A Step-By-Step Guide
1
Visit The Office
Like a regular comprehensive eye exam, a tele-optometry eye exam starts at your eye doctor’s office, where an on-site technician will perform an objective baseline reading of your prescription.

2
Visual Acuity Testing & Eye Health Exam
Rather than performing the exam in person, the licensed optometrist uses real-time HD video conferencing software to complete the exam digitally, including tests for cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.
3
Clinical Review
Your Visual Acuity Test and Eye Health Exam results are securely transferred to the licensed optometrist so they can walk through your test results, finalize your prescription, and answer any questions you may have.
